Qualifications

CTC applicants are talented Black health industry mid-careerists with a professional history of success and high performance. We invite applicants who would like to make the Career Transformation Center fundamental to their advancement strategy.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Mid-Careerist
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience
  • Completed an accredited Masters Degree in Health Administration or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Financial member of NAHSE
  • Ethnicity: Identification as Black
  • US citizen or US permanent resident

Commitment of Time

 

The program is designed to maximize the education, resource and network benefits of CTC. As with any goal, the greater the commitment to success the greater the return on one’s personal and professional investment.

While every person is unique, participants can expect to make a commitment of 10-20 hours of work each month, as well as five mandatory in-person sessions, including:

  • Leadership Seminar – Full intensive week in Q2 2017
  • NAHSE Educational Conference, Empowerment Forum – October (2016 & 2017)
  • Career Enhancing Experience – TBD contingent on experience location
  • Leadership Reunion and Graduation at NAHSE CEO Conference – May 2018
  • Virtual Education & Training include ongoing assessments, coaching and mentoring, which are central to participant success throughout the program.

Financial Investment

 

Tuition and fees for the Career Transformation Center, in the amount of $10,000, are to be paid by the participant and/or the participant’s organization. Your investment provides for the full curriculum, individual assessments throughout the program, training and development, leadership coaching and unique networking forums.

While travel and lodging are the responsibility of each participant, meals during onsite portions of the program are provided by CTC.
